This moth winged creature was a loooong time in the making. After struggling with trying to make it affordable I finally decided that I'd make it and worry about the purchase price once it was done.

It's gross almost human like mole ridden flesh and sharp pointy teeth work in contrast with its sparkly pale coloured wings. Handmade from polymer clay and painted with acrylics.

This is so unbelievably amazing and creepy! :noes: I don't know why, but my favorite part is the legs. I want to touch them :noes: Excellent color choices. Even though they're muted earth tones, it really works for this piece, making it more believable (as if this were actually a real creature!)

what kind of glaze do you use? it looks really nice, not too shiny.

for this piece it was the 'satin' sculpey glaze. It's not totally matte but like you say, its not too shiny either
